You can get your hedonistic needs met here with beer and food or coffee and decadent desserts. The atmosphere is pubbish coffee house, so stay in the back for the beer or come up front for the coffee and sunshine. I didn't get beer and food, but the coffee and salted caramel pie was excellent.

waited over 40 minutes for food, a burger , pizza salad and sandwich with mac & cheese. salad had brown lettuce mac and cheese had a different taste than usual , i order the mac & cheese a couple times a week , order wasn’t all served and missed items, pizza was on point though so that’s a plus and would have to get waitresses attention just to get a drink filled and the thing is i could see this happening maybe if it was busy but it is literally dead as my appetite is once the food got here.

Our new favorite place for drinks and food. The Charlee whiskey coffee was great. Service was good as well.

Absolutely an awesome place! Cool atmosphere and great coffee that is roasted locally. The team there are fun and make you feel welcome! Give them a try if you haven’t!

Food was amazing. I had the pork tenderloin with apple chutney. It was melt in your mouth tender. My daughter had the seafood mac and cheese and was in heaven. Waitress was super nice and attentive.

My favorite dinner in the week we spent in DL. The 2 pizzas we ordered (El Diablo & Pesto) were excellent, as was the Walleye. Our waitress was sweet, and efficient. And the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy.

Quiet little place, enjoyable atmosphere, great tastes from pizza to sandwiches or even a good old burger. Desserts served up like a bakery.

Good meal, good drinks, good service! And it's consistent. Almost always have the bruschetta and I don't know how they make toasty bread taste so good, but dang! Belly up to the bar and have a leisurely meal, you won't regret it!

Terry is super helpful with coffee. The shop here provides old brick with some modern amenities like Wi-Fi, craft beer, and good espresso. Enjoyed the downtown Detroit Lakes area and this local coffee shop.Pour over coffee isn't available. Yet chemex, v60, and syphon display on the shelf.

Good food and atmosphere but service has been lacking the past few visits.

A coworker and I went to Roasted to get take out pizza. We had ordered by phone saying we wanted 4 pizzas. When we got there we asked if we could use our coupons and the person was very rude and said " I guess this time but you are supposed to dine in". I said " does it say that on the coupon?" He said " I don't know". I responded that I didn't think they did. Later to find out they do not. Then he said I was not supposed to get the lunch special pizza and I said that is not what I ordered. He gave us our order and did not give us the pop we were supposed to get. Then when we got back to work I discovered one of the pizzas was not even the kind I ordered. So not only the wrong size pizza but the wrong kind. Very disappointed and probably will not go back for a while.

Pizza jam packed with precious llama meats will fill your soul with antiquated cryogenic morsels of gooey molten cheese from the enchanted rainforest of Nebraska but before you rev up your Zambian Anti matter chainsaw and attack everyone in sight to keep them away from the tender bits of crust that have fallen through the crack in space time that was created when you threw your alarm clock into to a microwave full of dolphin innards but then remembered you have to get your nails done later that afternoon or you will be arrested and charged with arson again because every time you eat this pizza you might wake up in the twilight hours to start another fire not because your angry but because your gullet is exploding with sweet sweet dairy product from the dark side of the moon and back again.

This is a good example of what a restaurant should be. I had a bison burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was juicy with a lot of flavor with just right amount of onions and tomatoes. The fries were crunchy and not salty. The waitress “Pam” was friendly and kept our pops topped off. Price is in line for the food you are getting. You don’t have to eat cow to get a good burger but if you want to try bison this is the place to go. Thanks for the great meal. I will be back.

Really great tasty food! Coffee was really good as well! Good atmosphere and staff is very friendly and helpful. Even had a good band playing. Little on the pricey side but worth it!

Very inviting, warm and friendly place. Salads are amazingly fresh, I enjoy them. Cool decoration and never overwhelmingly busy.

I went out on a limb and tried the Bison Balls and chicken tortilla soup tonight! Excellent!! I have never been here before and felt very welcomed and the waiter was very friendly and helpful. Awesome service!! For a first timer, I would definitely come here again!

Great food and honest server-Irina. Left my purse (with my entire life in it ) about 18 hours before i realized i left it in this restaurant and all came back INTACT. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Keep up on your values and standards.

3 visits and every time the food and service had been superb! Wonderful menu choices for all, bakery items are fab, the untamed Chardonnay is delish! Thank you for offering such a wonderful menu including vegetarian. Environmentally conscious staff and establishment!

Pleasantly surprised to find this Third Wave coffee shop / bar style restaurant in Detroit Lakes.

Delicious and friendly staff!

Have been here 3 times. Food and baked goods are great. First 2 times service was great. 3rd time service very poor. Waited 45 minutes for our food after ordering. So asked 2 different servers about the wait and they were clueless. Our waitress continued to work the bakery section without checking on our food. After seeing another table that came in 10 minutes after us get served, we left and ate somewhere else. Maybe short handed,? No on came to apologize for the delay. Place was crowded but not full.

Fantastic food and a rotating beer selection plus good service. What else do you need? I should note that the menu isn't the typical menu you see everywhere else in the area. So if you need something a little different check it out.

Great experience! We tried two pizzas the pesto and bison cheeseburger. Both were excellent. The crust was the perfect thicknesses and tasted like they made it that morning. Our server was cheerful and accommodating. It was busy, but not packed. Our food come in a timely manner. I got an iced coffee to go. It was perfectly bold and dark. The only issue is that it got a little loud even though there were not that many people.

Genuinely impressed with the high quality of food, cost, and comfortable environment! New favorite restaurant in DL. This will be my go-to restaurant for out of town guests to try!

Omg you have to try it to believe it. This place is phenomenal! The coffee,food,pastries and ambiance is awesome. Try a dirty chia. If you wanna be amazed stay for dinner after 5!

Really good food with fresh, quality ingredients. The pizza is authentic ItLian, and the service is great. They have DRY Riesling, hooray!

I love the portobello mushroom burger, and the sweet potato fries are among the best I've had. However, service is spotty--I've been in and out for lunch in under an hour, and I've waited two hours for dinner. They were very gracious about the last instance, but still. Probably best to skip if you're in a rush. There's also a cafe attached, which is good.

The service was terrible!! Waiting for over an hour for our good and asked the waitress and they hadn't even started cooking it yet at that point... the one thing I did get was my mushroom wild rice soup and it was WAY too salty!! I will never go back again that was my second bad experience there!!!!

We tried the general tso pizza. It's unfortunate the pizzas largest size is a 12 inch cause it was really good. The crust and toppings were great - it was fun watching the oven master rotate the pizzas in the oven. I noticed he checked l and rotated often which lead to a evenly cooked pizza with perfect crispy crust.Atmosphere is really cool and staff was friendly and really seemed enthused about what is happening at Roasted. They make basically everything there from scratch so prices do reflect that as it seemed to be a little expensive. I can promise you won't find anything like it in a 100 miles though.I will definitely be back and would recommend to any local or summer time tourist.

One of the best meals I've ever eaten! The beet and feta cheese salad was the best thing I've ever tasted. Pizza and seafood mac-n-cheese were out of this world. The restaurant smelled of delicious coffee and had a nice urban vibe. Excellent service and great prices. A true gem!

Absolutely love their coffee! Muffins are fantastic, made in-house from scratch daily. The speciality bar drinks are always different and fun. I am not crazy about the food choices, though the soup specials are usually pretty good.

The best restaurant in the DL area. It checks off all of the boxes and more: fresh roasted coffee (better than Caribou or Starbucks, easily), hand crafted bakery items, and creative, quality food.

Food was good but a little expensive for the type of food. $14 for a French dip. Waitress was nice enough but getting our food was ridiculously slow. Tried to order a salad with quinoa, waitress said there wasn't any prepared and we'd have to wait 20 minutes so they could make more and suggested we order something else. We were there on a Monday late afternoon and it wasn't that busy. Long wait for the appetizer to arrive. Almost 20 minutes for dessert which was a brownie with some ice cream on it. We actually ended up telling them to forget the dessert because we had to go. No apology from the waitress either. Not really impressed with the experience and really no desire to go back to try their coffee bar.

Will never visit again. Came in with a group and after half an hour we ordered. An hour later our food still had not arrived. Mind you, numerous tables had come and gone during this time. When we asked the waitress she returned and said they were working on it. At that point we realized our food had not been started. She told the manager but the manager made no effort to come and make it right. They brought out the two soups and one salad we had asked for right away but the soup was pure salt. It was as if someone had collected the snow from the salted roads, melted it and put some wild rice in it. One of the pizzas that was ordered was observed to have a pure black crust. Again, nothing was done by the manager to right any of the wrongs. Again, will never return. Poor service, and poor food. I have spent over a decade in this industry and this was one of the biggest abominations I have ever seen. Would give 0 stars if I could. Boom, roasted.
